What Keyhalt does

Keyhalt is the checkout where you pay for a software licence you chose in a store. Paying here buys you a licence key for the product and plan named on the payment page, delivered by e-mail to the address you gave at checkout.

What you are buying

A licence key for the product and plan shown on the payment page, for the length of time the plan says. Where a plan names a period — thirty days, a week — that period starts when the key is issued to you, not when you first use it.

Keys are personal. Sharing, reselling or publishing a key voids it, and a voided key is not refunded.

Payment

Prices are in US dollars and include any tax that applies. Payments are taken by Stripe; your card details are entered into Stripe's own form and are never sent to Keyhalt. Your card statement will show KEYHALT.

A payment link is valid for fifteen minutes and can only be used once. If it expires, start the checkout again in the store — nothing is charged until a payment goes through.

Delivery

Your key is e-mailed as soon as the payment clears, which is usually a few seconds. If a key cannot be issued straight away, the e-mail says so and the key follows; the payment stands and you are owed the key either way.

What we do not promise

Software licences are sold as they are. We do not promise that a product will suit a particular purpose, remain compatible with third-party software it depends on, or be free of faults. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law of your own country that cannot be limited by agreement.
